Adopted by: Ruth & Irl Hirsch
Adopted From: Renton PetSmart on February 4, 2024
Purrfect Ending Story:
“We were searching for a bonded pair of kitties and read about Lumin and Simba on your website. We have always had cats as part of our family and enthusiastically went to see them as soon as we could. We connected immediately as they were warm and affectionate. We decided then and there to adopt them and welcome them into the Hirsch home. Since then, they have become important members of our family, taking over the house, adapting quickly ..read more

Purrfect Pals Name: Helga Gracie
Adopted by: David Blocker
Adopted: March 2022
Purrfect Ending Story:
“I was looking for a gray & white tuxedo female cat, not a kitten. I saw she had weight problems, so I initially passed her over. But after seeing her face over the next 2 weeks, I picked her. Lol, her bed had been placed on top of the food cabinet because that’s where she slept! She couldn’t stop purring when we got home, and she roamed around my small 1-bedroom apartment. She loves being petted, never gets enough. It took a year before she finally slept between my legs while ..read more

Purrfect Pals Name: Marlo Thomas
Adopted by: Rebecca Joseph
Adopted from: Issaquah Petco
Purrfect Ending Story:
“We adopted Arwen a decade ago now!! At the time, we were living with someone who had a dog who didn’t love other dogs, but had zero reaction to cats. We also knew we wanted kids someday, so we were looking for a cat who had successfully lived with dogs and kids before. I came across Arwen (then Marlo Thomas) on Petfinder and fell in love with her gold eyes. She had been with Purrfect Pals for about a year I believe. She was a month older than the dog we lived with, so si ..read more

Purrfect Pals Name: Diane
Adopted by: Kathi Jones
Adopted from: Arlington Sanctuary
Purrfect Ending Story:
“I had been volunteering for about two years and had just started fostering. Susan called and asked if I could take a little tabby with a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia. I was there in 10 minutes. I had two older cats that didn’t play much anymore so it was so fun to see all the toys out again and little Diane awkwardly attacking them. Her scheduled adoption event got cancelled so I had her an extra week and it was just enough to seal the deal. My first foster fail! (There ..read more

Purrfect Pals Name: Kyanite
Adopted by: Jai Kossa
Adopted from: Arlington Sanctuary
Purrfect Ending Story:
“I had just recently lost my previous cat to cancer, and I happened to see that Kyanite needed a new home. I ignored it at first because I thought I wasn’t ready, but I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I submitted an application and was pleasantly surprised when i got a call to set up a time to meet her. I was introduced to a cat cave with a terrified little face inside. I greeted her softly while telling her about the sunny windows and soft blankets we had. I then held out m ..read more

Adopted from: Arlington Sanctuary
Purrfect Ending Story:
“Luna was from a litter of strays that went to the Monroe prison kitten program. After a year she was up for adoption, but the most shy of her litter. The staff was worried she might not get adopted because of how scared she was. But we took a chance on her anyway. She spent the first month or so in a bathroom but slowly ventured out around the house, especially at night! 2.5 years later and she does not want to leave our sides, love cuddles, and always wants pets while she e ..read more

Purrfect Pals Name: Ming Dynasty
Adopted by: Amanda Bevan
Adopted from: Denny’s Pet World
Purrfect Ending Story:
“My husband and I had been wanting to adopt a cat for a while and had been looking for the right cat. We knew our situation was unique and some cats would benefit more than others from what we had to offer. I had been following Purrfect Pals on Facebook for years already and when Ming’s story came up we decided to make the drive from Kent to Kirkland to see this little ball of trouble. The volunteer on duty seemed all at once surprised and elated when we inquired about h ..read more
