Hey folks! noticed lots of campground in Mt. Baker national forest area are closed right now. Anyone knows the reasons? Is it because of wilderness fire?
I just move to WA and really want to do some car camping there. Probably pick some of the popular trails such as blue lake, maple pass and so on. If you have 3-4 days to plan, which campsite you would recommend?
Thank you!!!

Anybody have a recommendations for this? I’m new to camping and struggling to find anything like this, don’t need a huge living space or be tall enough to stand but big enough to put a couple of chairs and a table in. Would like one with windows and floor covered in the living area.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Out desert camping on my electric mountain bike. I need some advice on more compact gear that could fit in saddle bags or a tent that could fit in a backpack easily. Also my tie down system sucks and is possibly dangerous with the slippage.

I swear I saw a picture of this once, but I can't find any references on Reddit or YouTube on the details. I'm thinking of getting a metal-top camp table and cutting a hole to fit a single-burner propane stove (like a Coleman bottle top). This would raise the burner to a more comfortable height and I wouldn't have to worry about it falling over with a pot/pan on top. So cut a hole, drop the stove through it, and then secure it with some screws or something. Similar to people who made a DIY skottle from a propane tank but through a table. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations on a table th ..read more

Camping at Trillium Lake has been one of the best camps of the year for me. The park is clean and very well run. The sites are spacious with plenty of privacy. The forest is… well it’s gorgeous. And when the weather is right, the views are spectacular. Highly recommend putting this on your list.

Lately been trying to check out some of the must-see places in Pennsylvania and got a handful of recommendations for Lancaster' Central Park.
Some really solid trails and just so much greenery everywhere you look - hoping to come back for a little more time when I can. If anyone has other recommendations for underrated must-sees in the area, I'm always happy to hear them!

Hi, does anyone own this tent? I am considering buying it, but can’t find the specs about the sizes. I don’t want to be stupid and buy a tent without knowing the size of it. (Floor dimensions would be really helpful)
