~ warm welcome to all of you ~
As usual for me…
I’ve been busy! One thing I have incorporated into my life is:
Rest. My husband and I had our deck redone from scratch with laminate boards and railings, it was made larger and essentially it is an extension of our home.
It has been the SINGLE BEST THING we have ever done for ourselves. We are out there all the time.
Here’s a few photos of our recent time out there:
Oh my heavens I just adore it out there! So much so today I’m taking a break from my last finishing packages to rest my hands, suit up in my hand braces and s ..read more

Well folks...the time has come:
I am saddened to inform you, this morning, I had an appointment with my orthopedist. I am having severe pain in my hands and wrist. After many years of working as a finisher, it has come to the point that if I want to be able to do anything without pain in my hands and wrists I am going to have to stop aggravating them by continuous finishing. I am finishing the packages that have arrived here in my home already, and after those packages are finished, I will not be finishing for the public at all anymore. I do want you to know that I have many, many ..read more

~ Greetings and Warm Welcome to you, my friend! ~
I once again have been gone too long from this space.
So I will do my best to update you on the happenings *briefly* of what went on at the end of 2023.
~ October 4, 2023 ~
Ian married Kamdyn in a beautiful ceremony on their property in Bloomfield, Indiana:
It was a beautiful day, a little windy, a little chilly but my heart was full and we gained a wonderful new daughter to welcome into our family!
They honeymooned in Arizona and Utah...and at one point we had Pfeiffer's across the USA

~ Greetings and Warmest Wishes to all of you, my friends! ~
So...October 2!
Where in the world does my days go? I once again have painted myself into a corner and I'm going to admit I'm a little stressed about the amount of work I have here to be finished by deadline dates - that of course are like: November 1 and Dec 1...Finishing....it takes such extreme amounts of time and I feel chained, some days, to my finishing room. I typically do anywhere from 700-1000 finishes for clients per year. People can't believe that is true, but it is. And my wrists and finger joints can attest to it. H ..read more

I have been missing in action again....
everywhere. No videos, no blog posts...I do sometimes post on IG and FB, however I'm rethinking that avenue of posting as social media is just a bunch of negativity. We will see, what I decide. Many, many times I have thought over about pulling the plug on all of this, blog, videos, tutorials, social media, just delete and quietly leave. It's been on my heart for a long time. However, when I pray about it, I always get this feeling in my heart that God intends me to stay, be a light and not h ..read more

Greetings and Warm Welcome friends….
I would love to get my Santa of the Forest by Lavender and Lace done by Christmas 2023.
Although this will never be taken down once I finish and frame him, he will grace my wall all year long!
Here he was May 1, 2023 - I had not stitched on him since January:
Here is where he stands as of today, May 10, 2023 (after this morning’s coffee and stitch time - which I don’t do every day, but needed to do a little relaxation this a.m.)
This is what he looks like finished:
As you can tell, Vonna has a whole lot of stitching left….
