It’s official, BNA Brewing is coming to Vernon.
Rumours about a possible expansion to Vernon have been floating around town for a while, and now details are being released by the Nixon Group.
BNA Brewing Vernon will have an on-site craft brewery and large eatery. It’ll also have 10-pin bowling lanes plus family-friendly “duckpin” bowling lanes, as well as a retro-inspired arcade, and outdoor bocce court.

The fact that men dominated the early years of brewing in Vancouver should probably come as a surprise to no one.
However, there is one woman who became a notable exception to this generality—Mary Mueller of Columbia Brewery, which set up on Powell Street in 1889—not far from where Parallel 49 is now. Vancouver’s Storm Brewing is open again as of May 17, 2024, following a three-week closure due to a licensing issue. Storm BrewingBeing “unexpectedly closed for a couple [of] weeks is tough for any small business in Vancouver.”
It’s been a tempestuous few weeks for Vancouver’s Storm Brewing, after a “clerical error” led to its temporary closure at the end of April.
At the time, Storm shared that the irreverent craft beer spot, which has been brewing for 30 years, could possibly be closed for several weeks.

It’s been 10 years since Dageraad Brewing opened up shop in Burnaby, and the local beer shop is celebrating with its biggest anniversary party to date.
