This usually doesn’t happen to me, but I ran out of test strips yesterday night. Usually my dad picks up my script for me or we go together through the drive through (panic disorder that I’m currently working through with a therapist but as of right now leaving house is difficult). I used to pay like 27$ for 3 months of metformin (2000mg a day). Shifting to trulicity because my numbers were slightly higher, a1c around 6.8-7. My first month's pens are $35. My last two AC1 readings were 6.3 and the latest 6.2., I did this by really getting aggressive with my diet selections. No red meat and no processed meats plus a huge increase in vegetables. My Primary has me taking metformin as needed and I'm not doing this on a daily basis. My problem I'm experiencing is way to much weight loss. My goal is to put on at least 10 pounds but to do so I have to increase my carb intake which naturally will jack up your blood readings.
