(April 28, 2020) — ASIFA-Hollywood recently announced its Animation Educator’s Forum (AEF) fourth annual Faculty Grant recipients: Zoya Baker (New York University), Mindy Johnson (CalArts), Nazil Eda Noyan (Bahcesehir University, Istanbul/Turkey), Jack Parry (Deakin University, Australia) and Kevin Sandler (Arizona State University).

ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum (AEF) Faculty Grants are designed to provide support for individuals or groups of individuals with reasonable expenditures associated with research, scholarly activity or creative projects in the field of animation.
Application deadline has been extended to Sunday, March 15th 2020 (11:59pm PST) and recipients will be announced in April 2020. Awards will range from US $1,000 to a maximum of US $5,000 per applicant and if awarded, expenditures must occur in the 2020-21 American academic year.

The Animation Educators Forum is proud to announce its 2020-21 academic year scholarships. Last year, the AEF awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to eight students.
2020-21 SCHOLARSHIPS
We are accepting applications for academic year 2020-21.
Our online application site scholarships.animationeducatorsforum.org will go live on March 8, 2020. The deadline for applying is June 15, 2020.

ASIFA-Hollywood and the Animation Educators Forum are now accepting applications for the 2019 Faculty Grant program. The program provides support for individuals or groups with reasonable expenditures associated with independent research, scholarly activity or creative projects in the field of animation. Applications must be submitted online before Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Recipients will be announced in April 2019. BURBANK, Calif. (June 26, 2018) – ASIFA-Hollywood and the Animation Educators Forum (AEF) are proud to announce the scholarship winners for academic year 2018-2019. This year’s scholarships total $40,000 and will be distributed to ten (10) students, both graduate and undergraduate, and include narrative and documentary animation projects, and formal academic research.
