We’re excited to share our latest posters for The National, for their recent pair of shows at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 30 & 31, 2023. Our posters for The National over the years has focused on aerial views of various locations, and for their stop in L.A., we wanted to represent the variety of urban and suburban parts of the city. For the two nights of shows, we created a diptych with the swirling grid of suburban homes intersecting with the downtown landscape, with each scene extending slightly onto its neighboring poster.
The National posters are 18” x 24” three-color scre ..read more

Over a decade ago we released our Mammoth art print that quickly became one of our favorites, so we wanted to revisit the theme of larger than life prehistoric creatures, as well as blurring the line between land and animal in a fantastical setting. Stegosaurus is our take on an illustrated scene of what appears to be a lush tropical island, but is actually a massive dinosaur, slowly making its way across the ocean floor.
Stegosaurus is a 24” x 18” four-color art print with a main edition on cream paper and a variant edition on rainbow foil. One in every 20 orders of a main edit ..read more

Mike “Greeny” Greenberg is an ESPN personality known for his hot takes, and he’s collected many of them in his new book Got Your Number - The Greatest Sports Legends and the Numbers They Own. We had the pleasure of working with Disney Publishing to design and illustrate the book jacket, as well as the interior spot illustrations, that highlight many of the included sports legends that Greeny has deemed the “owners” of their respective numbers. In some cases such as Michael Jordan (23), the number they own is their jersey number, but others are more nuanced, for example 67, the ..read more

Almanac is one of our favorite clients, and we've designed close to 100 different beer labels during our time working with the bay area brewery, but by far their most popular beers are those in their year-round core line, including their flagship LOVE IPA. So we were excited to be able to take a fresh look at the brand packaging several years after our initial designs hit the shelves. The direction from Damian, Almanac's CEO for the brand refresh was simplicity. How could we retain the brand equity already established by Almanac's customers familiarity with their most popular beers, while at ..read more

Dolly the Space Catdet is ready for intergalactic travel! It’s with bittersweet sentiment that we share our space cat illustration for Almanac (now available on shirts in the Almanac store!) as the illustration memorializes Dolly, Almanac’s beloved Devon Rex cat who passed on recently. But on a happy note, Dolly’s memory will live on as she continues on her journey across the galaxy. The Space Cat appears in both “good” and “evil” styles which you can check out below, along with a peak into our illustration process. Unlike much of our work that’s built from vector shapes, this illustration wa ..read more

Well the inevitable moment has finally arrived - DKNG is dipping its toes into the world of NFTs. For our first attempt at minting digital art, we wanted to bring back to life some of our favorite art prints, now in digital form. We created a collection entitled “Dreamscapes” which features three revamped DKNG illustrations, that until now have been unavailable since their physical limited editions sold out. Mammoth, Elk, and Telescope are all fantastical, highly detailed pieces of art that can now be purchased as limited edition NFTs. In addition to updating their color sch ..read more
