The Ireland coaching team have named the Match Day Squad to take on France at a packed Aviva Stadium on Saturday in the second round of the 2023 Guinness Six Nations Championship (Kick-off 2.15pm). Ireland captain Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray will line out for Ireland at half-back with Stuart McCloskey and Garry Ringrosecontinuing their partnership in midfield. Head Coach Richie Murphy has named the Ireland U20s Match Day Squad, sponsored by PwC, for Friday night’s showdown against France at Musgrave Park (Kick-off 8pm, live on RTÉ2). Ireland opened their U20 Six Nations campaign with a bonus point win away in Wales last weekend, and return home to Cork on Friday night to face France with over 7,000 tickets already sold for the Round 2 clash. IRFU Statement On Union Committee

The Committee of the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) has unanimously approved a proposal to achieve 40% female representation on the IRFU Committee by the end of this year. This recommendation will now be brought to the IRFU Annual Council meeting in July for consideration and the adoption of the necessary law changes to affect this decision. In the meantime, the IRFU will engage with the Provinces and other stakeholders on the details of this proposal.
