Ampthill secured back to back away wins for the first time this season, edging out Bedford Blues in the Battle of Bedfordshire, their first success at Goldington Road since January 2022. The Mob applied most of the early attacking pressure in the game, and were rewarded with the opening try of game after 11 minutes. After a rolling maul was stopped close to the try line, the A’s recycled the ball well, and the ball found its way to Brandon Jackson on the left wing, who brilliantly manoeuvred his way around the covering defence to dot down in the corner. Following Josh Barton’s conversion, Ampt ..read more

Ampthill travelled north to the Wirral to face old friends Caldy looking to back up what Head Coach Paul Turner had described as “the biggest win in the clubs history”. The Mob started fast and took only two minutes to open the scoring –  Tobias Elliot breaking on halfway and found flyhalf Josh Barton on his inside who raced away to score wide right. A missed conversion but As lead 0-5. This would prove t ..read more
