Studio AKA, the multi-BAFTA winning, multi-EMMY awarded and OSCAR-nominated independent animation studio based in London have this month revealed a project to encourage Early Cancer Detection. From April 17 to May 24, the Cinémathèque québécoise will be hosting its sixth Animation Residency for six young artists from here and abroad. Each artist will be associated with a mentor, chosen amongst the city’s animation film professionals. They will be responsible for coaching them and providing them with inspiration.
