**This post is a paid sponsorship with Tate’s Bake Shop.** Life has been pretty crazy lately. Between packing up our apartment, finalizing all the last minute items on our build, keeping my kids happy during chaos, moving, and finally ALL the unpacking I easily have forgotten to enjoy the little things in life. Sometimes that’s just giving myself 20 minutes at the end of the day to do something for me, going for a run, or slowing down and enjoying a treat with my kids. Don’t we all usually forget to treat ourselves especially as busy Moms? Want to know the boys and I’s FAVORITE new treat? Tate ..read more

This post is sponsored by Arnold Organic Bread. I think it’s pretty safe to say that 90% of Moms have dealt with a picky eater a time or two. It may be an overall picky eater or simply just one of those fun “phases” kids go through where they refuse to eat just about everything! In fact, my youngest Rylan is just now beginning to go through his picky eater phase. It’s always a fine line between making sure they are getting enough and quality foods while also not making it a constant daily battle. One easy way we have found to make sure the boys are getting foods they like without sacrificing ..read more

Suunto 9 Baro Review Q&A
Running Wife

I get so many questions about my experience with the Suunto 9 Baro that I wanted to create a post to put it all in one place for you! In full disclosure: I am a member of the Suunto Squad for 2019 and 2020. The watch was given to me to use, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. First thing, if you are new to Suunto then yes it may take you a little bit to get used to the overall function of the watch coming from a different brand. Overall, I’d say it took me about 2-3 days to get it figured out and be able to select the correct buttons when I was running quickly and without thought ..read more

Running Postpartum and With Kids Q&A
Running Wife
by Sara
4y ago
I recently posted a story on Instagram asking for what questions you all had about postpartum running as well as running with kids. I got quite a number of questions, so I wanted to highlight as many as I could today! For many of these questions it is a personal preference so remember to do what you are comfortable with. What is the coldest/warmest weather you will take your kids out for a run in? This is tricky because I think it depends on what kind of items you have to help keep them comfortable. For me when it comes to cold, the bigger issue is the wind over anything else. I h ..read more

Oh hey! Long time no “talk.” Yes, I’m still here! If you don’t already you can get more of my day to day (or as often as I can) updates on my Instagram. The truth is, having our second sweet boy has pretty much thrown my life in a spin. I wouldn’t trade it for the world but I will be honest and say that going from 1 child to 2 has been a much bigger adjustment for myself and my family than having our first child. As many of you may know, Rylan had colic for roughly the first 12 weeks of his life. That means lots of screaming and crying for really no apparent reason. This made it extre ..read more

As runners we focus on quality a lot. The quality of our running shoes, the quality of our training, the quality of the races we choose, but do you ever consider the quality of the water you are putting in your body? It’s no secret that hydration is an important part of helping us perform (even more so as a nursing athlete) but as someone who lives in a city that has had some pretty big water problems, the quality of the water I put in my body and the bodies of my little ones is vital. Primo® water has been the solution I’ve found to making sure I’m putting in the best for myself a ..read more
