In recent weeks, the numbers of Covid-linked infections, hospitalization and deaths have dropped significantly across the UK. Thanks to a remarkably successful vaccination programme and another tough lockdown the great “re-opening” is well under way and a path back to normality is in sight. With a heavy heart and great disappointment, we sadly have to announce the cancellation of the Hartpury Sevens and the Hartpury Corporate Challenge Cup tournaments this year. In the previous weeks we tried everything to find alternative dates for those events, however, the risk to run a team sports tournament with a larger number of attendees is simply too high.  The last months have been very emotional and to face the prospect of a summer without rugby has been extremely tough, but like all of us, we have to make sacrifices in order to stop spreading the deadly virus.  All our full ..read more
