I will be taking down DVXUSER.COM around 10:30AM PDT tomorrow, Friday, June 9. We will be moving to a newer/faster/better server as well as a vBulletin forum software upgrade. We have been testing the server and software in a dev environment for a few weeks and we are ready to go live. Be prepared for pretty significant UI/UX changes. Think of the new site as a 2021 car where our current site is 2010. There will be no CD player anymore ..read more

There was an interesting thread on another forum discussing actor's having private conversations when wired with a transmitter that also records. The point was, does a person wearing a wireless transmitter have a 'reasonable expectation of privacy' (as the law prescribes). when they are wearing a wireless microphone. It's illegal to record a person that has 'a reasonable expectation of privacy'.
The Reporters Committee (thanks Jim Feeley) https://www.rcfp.org/reporters-recor...de/california/ provides some guidance, by state. But there are no clear cut answers.
Ok, so it's debatable whether a ..read more

I want to do a fresh OS install on an existing computer already running Win7 but I don't have my Win7 Pro 64 Disc. My computer does have the windows sticker stuck on the side of the case with the product key.
I also have a windows 7 disc that I bought and installed on a different computer I am still using.
And I have a OE system builder windows 7 disc I bought that I never used on any computer.
Can I install Windows from one of those discs and use my Windows 7 product key from the sticker.
Or is there a better way? I need Windows 7 (not 10) due to hardware and software so I want to set the ..read more

In the early years, Zeraora was introduced into an on-site giveaway event, where Pokemon from different regions can be obtained. Getting Shiny Pokemon requires players to invest a lot of time and energy, which is very difficult for casual players.
Last year, as part of the promotion of Pokemon HOME, Zeraora will once again appear in Pokemon Sword and Shield. The mythical Pokemon is part of a global challenge that requires 1 million players to defeat Zeraora, which is added to the wild event Max Raid Dens.
If a player transfers Pokemon between Sword and Shield and Pokemon HOME and is one of t ..read more

Selling lightly used Sony FS7 MK1. There are only 50 HOURS on the meter -- I used it on one short project and I baby my gear. Purchased last year from Adorama in NYC. Functions flawlessly and in pristine cosmetic condition (see pics). Sensor/LCD are perfect with no dead pixels. All buttons, dials and XLR inputs function perfectly.
4K, 10bit 4:2:2 super 35mm industry standard cinema camera that still offers a great ROI. Number one top corporate usage camera again this year: https://crewscontrol.com/blog-centra...eport-q1-2021/ Great for documentary, TV and narrative.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Let's skip that discussion.
Old client still owes ~$20,000, going on 2 years now. Annual statutory interest rate is 9%, so make that closer to $24,000.
1.) Let it go?
2.) File a lawsuit? (no thanks, expensive stressful time consuming PIA)
3.) Send to collections?
Is it worth it to send to collections? They take a cut of 25%-50%, and might sue the debt holder themselves, is that right?
I'm unfamiliar with the whole process of collections and simply wondering if it is worth it, if anyone has done it or knows someone who has, etc.
