If we each chip in 15k, we could buy the hawks for 2.5 billion... and we use a voting system for making all of our decisions. Who's with me... The first fan owned team!!!!!
Last years' Hawks revenue was 326mm and I have no idea of their net earnings... but let's say it's 20% net margin. Our yearly take home per person would be $390. So in 40 years we will have made our 15k back, lol.
Okay, fast forward, we bought the team... Reply below with our first items of business to vote on!
PS don't come at me about my math... I'm not a CPA :D

To preface all of this, I would like to say that the main cause of all our failures has been our front office or lack thereof. I am under the belief that ever since Schlenk decided against the Murray trade and they outed him for Landry we've essentially just seen the GM role be a Ressler extension. No moves were made at the deadline or over the summer despite sufficient data suggesting this team, as constructed does not work. Even the easy moves, like signing Vit cannot seem to get done under this regime. Yes, the negotiation worked both ways, but I'm sure if they offered a good deal Vit's te ..read more

I want to know what Atlanta fans think of Trae Young’s trade value. Is he untouchable to yall? Would a one time All star like Brandon Ingram and 2 or 3 firsts be enough to accept trading him away?
I’ve wanted Zion and Trae to play together since JJ Reddick started doing inverted PnRs with him.
I just don’t know what yall think Ingram and picks is enough

Season ended worse than the recently fired Nate Mcmillan.
It is due for the yearly cryptic post from Trae and his father about coaching which will always lead to the Head coach getting fired.
With how the Hawks looked good without Trae, moving the ball and everyone getting a touch of the basketball on every possession, Trae's dad isn't going to be happy again with the way the offense works.
Who do you think we should hire next?

It’s been pretty obvious that the ownership is unwilling to do anything more than the minimum in terms of going into tax to build a team. Do they think that a team led by Trae isn’t worth investing into, if so what level of player would make them go into luxury tax. They are going to save money again this offseason and I just don’t see this ownership doing more than the bare minimum to compete.
