[Raptors Report] Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn are usually two of the first players off the bench, and have a ghastly -16.6 Net Rating as a tandem. That is the worst on the team (outside of 2-man lineups with Gradey Dick). Something needs to change.

It was pretty clear that Doug Smith was questioning Scottie Barnes work ethic in the off-season based on his takes: https://www.reddit.com/r/torontoraptors/s/vQ9isYbV47 https://www.thestar.com/sports/raptors/raptors-insider-scottie-barnes-needs-to-work-much-harder-over-the-summer-to-be-an/article_578d8b5f-147c-52ab-870d-02718b03be0b.html submitted by /u/pikachuda6 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Buying Raptors season seats through MLSE License Hub (Personal Seat License)

I'm looking to surprise my kids (and myself!) with some Raptors Season seats for Christmas. I'm on the official wait-list, but have been for years. But my friend told me about a website I'd never heard of - the MLSE License Hub. I've read through their FAQ and my understanding is that it's current season seat holders looking to permanently sell their rights away to the season seats. So it's a way to bypass the wait-list. Right now for example, there are 2 seats for $8,000 or 4 seats for $19,000, but it's not super-clear what I get for that price. Are the remaining games of the season included ..read more

Jordan Hawkins is averaging 13/4/2 Keynote George is averaging 10/3/5 Jamie Jacquez Jr is averaging 12/4/2 Brandin Podziemski is averaging 7/4/2 Some of these guys are getting minutes on good teams too. I know it’s still early, he’s young, etc. I’m not saying he won’t turn out good. But these players just simply look like better players, and were picked after him. submitted by /u/YogurtResponsible785 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Siakam is shooting the 3 at a historically bad rate, and has a chance to be one of the worst in NBA history.

So, Siakams 3p shooting woes are widely known, but I think what a lot of people don't understand is just HOW bad it actually is. So, let's break it down. Siakam is currently shooting 19.8% on 4.1 attempts a game. That breaks down to 16 made 3 pointers, on 81 attempts. The current 5 worst 3 point shooting seasons in NBA history on 4+ attempts a game are : Mookie Blaylock - 97-98 26.9% on 4.8 attempts a game Latrell Sprewell - 94-95 27.6% on 4.7 attempts a game Marcus Smart - 16-17 28.3% on 4.2 attempts a game Kobe Bryant - 15-16 28.5% on 7.1 attempts a game Monta Ellis - 12-13 28.7% on 4 atte ..read more

The Raptors are 2-7 when Scottie leads the team in scoring. 7-4 when anyone else does.

Interesting observation. Scottie has led the team in scoring 9 times (in two games, he was tied with Siakam for the team lead.) https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/TOR/2024.html It seems odd that a team struggles to win when their best player (I love Siakam, but I think Scottie is better right now) leads the scoring charge. Naturally, if Scottie is leading the charge, pascal’s numbers will slip: 15.3 ppg on 39% fg (really bad!) However, interestingly, OG also struggles in these games where Scottie leads the team in scoring. OG is at just 13.3 ppg on 44% fg, 38% 3pt fg% (all lower than ..read more
