The Boomers have reduced their squad from eighteen (18) down to fifteen (15) for their assault on the FIBA World Cup later this month. The fifteen (15) man squad will now stay in camp in Cairns until Wednesday before heading to Melbourne for the warm-up games, twelve players will be chosen from the squad to represent at the FIBA World Cup. The players not going through to Melbourne are Sam Froling, Thon Maker and Keanu Pinder. Basketball Australia and iAthletic today launched their apparel partnership with the arrival of the first shipment of Boomers singlets to Rebel Stores nationally. Rebel will stock the official Mills and Giddey singlets that will be worn at the FIBA Basketball World Cup next month. The Boomers squad flew into Cairns in preparation for the FIBA World Cup next month, this is the first time the squad has been on home soil since 2019 and the work has already started.
