Wanted to put some of the clips going around the net of what Duke players are doing this summer in one place for easier digestion. Incoming Duke freshman, Kon Knueppel, had a very productive all-around showing at the Tatum Elite Camp. Rained down threes, finished through contact, made smart cuts, kept the ball moving, and was rock solid defensively. Projected mid-1st round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. pic.twitter.com/wUmdOQc9tZ — Jon Chepkevich (@JonChep) July 10, 2024 all about the work pic.twitter.com/S8saeAP1Nv — Duke Men’s Basketball (@DukeMBB) July 9, 2024 Another clip fr ..read more

I spent some time watching the FIBA U18 Americup games featuring incoming Duke freshman center Patrick Ngonga who made the team mostly as a reserve. The team, coached by Arizona coach Tommy Lloyed, won the gold medal Monday morning by beating a fiesty first half effort from the Argentinian Team and cruising in the second half to take it 110-70. Patrick didn’t play much in the gold medal game, but entered the game with about a minute left in the 3rd quarter – he was still able to, in 11 minutes of play score 6 points, pull down 4 rebounds and block 2 shots. In the 6 games for USA Basketball ..read more

The 2024 NBA Playoffs have been exhilarating, to say the least. The much fancied reigning champions have already been eliminated thanks to the Minnesota Timberwolves shock victory against Nikola Jokic and his Denver Nuggets. The Western Conference’s top seeds have also been eliminated as an upstart Oklahoma Cty Thunder side led by the imperious Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was downed in six by the Dallas Mavericks. Now, it’s time for the Conference finals. On the East Coast, the Boston Celtics are looking to put last year’s shocking upset at the hands of the eighth-seed Heat behind them as they ..read more
