The British Museum has announced the launch of an international competition to redesign major portions of the gallery spaces inside the institution’s Grade I-listed neo-classical Smirke building in Central London. The Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize nominees have been announced along with a jury for the biennial award's 5th cycle by the College of Architecture at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT).
