I'm currently listening to Noomi Rapace's playlist, and she has great taste in music. I found her only a whim; just randomly popped up while I was looking around. I'd like to find more like this. Is there a specific page I can navigate to that showcases other celebrities and public figures and their playlists? Or an external website that lists them? submitted by /u/January1252024 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Downloaded music and use of mobile data

Hi I'm new to using Apple Music and I wanted to ask these questions: 1 Question: When I want to play a song with the data activated, it tells me that I have to activate them. What's the point? (i have "use mobile data" enabled in settings of apple music and I don't have "use real-time streaming" and "downloads" enabled in the mobile data section because I don't understand what changes by doing so) 2 Question: I have a list created in the library with 20 downloaded songs, and when I want to listen to these songs, I just choose them.Because I don't understand what difference there is between ch ..read more

Tip for musicians that want to play along to music

One of the things that helped me learn to play my instrument is playing along to the music but often times I wish there would be an instrumental version that I can slow down. Well, that’s sort of possible now with Apple Music and 3rd party apps. Apple recently released an API for 3rd party apps for playback speed control. One app that so many people here already love, Marvis Pro, has that feature so this tutorial will be based on Marvis. This speed control feature can be combined with the native app’s SING feature to get a slowed down instrumental version of the song, great for learning the s ..read more

Apple music recommendations are misunderstood

I would argue that AM recommendations are great (sometimes even better than Spotify). It's only that users don't give AM the time to learn their listening habits & preferences. I think that AM wants you to listen to broaden your library and add more albums which are more of your taste (while also listening to them). This makes the recommendations wayyy better plus there's no feedback loop which Spotify has a preponderance to have.....try taking the album recommendations as individual song recommendations, add em to you library, try listening to them and it will take care of the rest. sub ..read more

Is anyone experiencing issues rewinding songs on Android phones? I have a S21 Ultra, and every time I try to use the drag bar to rewind a song, the song can no long be played for quite a while. Even if I close the app, I am unable to play that song. I tried Un-installing and re-installing the app, and clearing the caches but I'm still having the same bug. submitted by /u/granolapunk [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Music not available in your country

I can see a lot of those issues and I have it myself on some songs... I was wondering if the country check is glitched in AM because I can find and listen the same songs in Spotify. So glitch or different artists contracts between AM and Spotify ? I would think it's a glitch but i can find a lot of complains that are not recent so I fear that Apple won't fix it soon. This would make me switch back to Spotify this is really annoying... submitted by /u/Fl4vM [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Why do songs on my playlist keep disappearing, forcing me to toggle sync?

I've chatted with Apple support and couldn't get much of an answer. It seems like 2-3 times a week I have to turn sync off on my M3 MBP then turn it back on for my songs to reappear. For context, I have an iMac and iPhone too. I have tried logging out of all devices, then logging into one at a time and waiting for them to sync individually. They'll be fine for a few days, then all of a sudden, half the songs will be missing from my MBP. I can't figure it out for the life of me. submitted by /u/Blissfully_Peculiar [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
