A woman was struck and killed while crossing the street in Northeast Miami-Dade by a driver who kept on going, leading officers to take a man into custody, police said. Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the hit-and-run along Northeast Sixth Avenue, near 152nd Street, just after 9:20 p.m., Friday. An argument between two drivers led to shots fired in the parking lot of a Publix supermarket in Miramar, police said. Miramar Police units responded to the scene of what they described as a case of road rage at the Publix on Miramar Parkway and Palm Avenue, just before 7 p.m., Friday. A South Florida family is heartbroken and outraged after, they said, their precious pet was shot and killed right in their backyard. Dalisia Durham showed 7News where her dog, Sierra, was shot and killed Tuesday morning in her Hallandale Beach backyard.
