Coventry City’s dream of returning to a first FA Cup Final since 1987 came to an end on Sunday afternoon at Wembley Stadium, but the Sky Blues exited the competition with their heads held high. Haji Wright scored once on Sunday but the Sky Blues fell 4-2 on penalty kicks to Manchester United after the teams played out a 3-3 result through 120 minutes. Sergino Dest has been one of PSV’s best performers during the 2023-24 season but it is now feared that the Barcelona loanee will miss the remainder of the Eredivisie schedule. Dest suffered a serious knee injury in PSV training, the Dutch club announced Sunday. The U.S. men’s national team full back is on loan at PSV from Barcelona through May 2024. The 23-year-old joined PSV last fall on a season-long loan and has excelled for Peter Bosz’s squad. AC Milan’s quest of lifting the UEFA Europa League title came to a painful end on Thursday night in Rome. Yunus Musah and Christian Pulisic both played 69 minutes apiece as the Rossoneri suffered elimination at the hands of Serie A rivals AS Roma. Roma won Thursday’s second leg 2-0 on the night and advanced 3-0 on aggregate. Musah completed a match-high five dribble attempts while also winning five duels and completing 86% of his passes.
