One thing that’s changed significantly over the last two years is the kind of skills that boost the net worth of a candidate when they’re trying to land a job. The standard skills and background aren’t wholesale different than pre-pandemic, but the changing nature of the working environment (i.e. remote, hybrid, etc.) and shifting values of work (i.e. work-life balance) have changed things.
