I have 2 identical New vCenter deployments. 1 is a member of the Domain, the other is using AD over LDAP. Both to the same domain.
IN the AD Group member vcenter all is fine.
In the AD over LDAP Member vcneter, it seems Nested groups are not working. I have the same role in both, and the Parent group is indeed a set with to the role with Global Permissions however when she tries to log in the second site, she gets an error message about not have rights to log in to vcenter. Not sure what else to do.

If you think it's incompetence, then it's a "sneak preview" of what is to come and it's a sign and good example to show to your technical leadership as justification to move off the platform.
If you think it's malice, then you need to write to your local representive to open an investigation as to why they let this clusterfuck of merger happen. VMware and its products way too valuable to fuck around with like they're doing.
We need better leadership at Broadcom, this is unacceptable for what we expect of VMware.

Just like everything else at VMware, all of the links to any VMware content are dead and just redirect to a generic Broadcom landing page. I do not see Horizon Client download anywhere, and it does not appear in a search of theie site. This download was always freely available (login required I think).
Anyone had any luck finding it on the new site?

I'm using Workstation Player 17 on Windows 11. I've been using Linux Mint 21.1 as the guest OS for a while now, but for whatever reason it got corrupted and wouldn't boot. I won't get into all that, but after removing the image and doing a clean uninstall of WP 17 (including folders and registry entries), I reinstalled Linux Mint as a new OS.
It boots up now, but I can no longer drag to resize the window. I mean, I can but it just snaps back to this tiny window (I have a 2560 x 1440 monitor). Also I can no longer copy/paste stuff (like code) from Windows. I've heard that the solution for this ..read more

Ended up sending this email
Hello Mr Tan,
With all due respect, I have seen multiple companies merging but no one has done to this horribly. Whoever in your team decided that doing the whole thing in one go is a good idea should be fired Immediately. All of us are really upset and I can’t even get anyone on chat or phone for a production issue.
If you don’t believe me, please look at what this is doing to your company

Hey all! Are the software downloads really missing? I’m glad I backed up my keys but damn this transition sounds like a CF!
Respectfully, Christopher
