John Lawrie Metals (JLM) now officially meets the standard expected for ISO 50001 Energy Management following certification which it announced February 16. Proserv wins Dogger Bank A&B contract

Global technology company Proserv Controls will supply DEME Group with the cable monitoring system (CMS) for the first two phases of Dogger Bank Wind Farm, it said February 15. When complete, it will be the largest offshore wind farm in the world. Proserv’s Great Yarmouth team will do all the CMS work, with the two systems scheduled to be ready for dispatch this summer. Global integrated logistics and materials management company Asco has won a number of contract awards from major North Sea operators, it said February 15. Contracts since October have a combined value of about £200mn over the next three years. Ineos plans for hydrogen at Grangemouth

Integrated energy company Ineos is inviting bids for the design of “a state-of-the-art carbon capture-enabled hydrogen production plant,” at its Grangemouth site, it said January 27. The contract will include an “extensive suite of related infrastructure projects.” The CO2 will be routed to the Scottish Cluster’s Acorn CCS project and save 1 million tonnes/year of emissions. Equinor develops market for hydrogen in NE

Equinor is planning to kick off its Zero Carbon Humber (ZCH) initiative at PX Group’s Saltend Chemicals Park (SCP) in the northeast of England.
