I mean I don't have trust issues. It's just that her friends are single and they would of course talk to men and my gf is the most beautiful one and I know that after 3, 4 drinks, she forgets how much she drunk... And I also know that there are stupid men in clubs trying to put something in girls' drinks, so these are my concerns... She planned a girls night because i have to work at night and we couldn't spend time together... We have talked about it before and told her my concerns and I don't like it but now after more than a year being together she has planned it with her friends. tl;dr ..read more

How do I breakup with my boyfriend of 3 years?

I am a bit drunk as I type this. My boyfriend (24M) and I (24F) have been dating for the past three years. I love him a lot, but we keep on fighting a lot these days. The fights are mostly started by me because of the uncertainty of the future. He doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage. This is what he told me when we first started dating at the age of 21. At that time, I also didn’t want marriage, but slowly over time, by the time I was 23, I realized that I really did want marriage and I wanted kids now. This is a significant difference between us with no resolution in hand. I feel ..read more

I (22F) have been with my boyfriend (21M) for almost 4 years now and we just welcomed a son last December. I love them both but my relationship with my boyfriend feels like it’s getting progressively worse. The first two years were heaven on earth, I had never felt so adored and loved and wanted by someone until I met him. He was consistently chivalrous and kind to me for the first two years and I felt incredibly lucky. I was awful to him because of past relationships and the example my mom set for me. I gave the silent treatment, got jealous easily, invaded his personal space in desperation ..read more

So I've been with my girlfriend for 1.5ish years we've moved in together for about 5 months now. First off let me start by saying she is an "angel", raised Christian in majority poland country before flying into the states to earn hee sponsorship for green card. She's told me she's had maybe two relationships before me and hasn't really dated since. I found myself lucky cause to me that means plenty of room for growth. When we started I told her my expectations, told her I'm a very sexually active guy and I can't be with someone who I feel can't stay connected with me physically and emotional ..read more

Pretty much as the title says I've been friends with my friend group since 2022. We all met at work and they're pretty young, I would say they're are really gen z minded. Into poly, and finding themselves and just having fun without care. My girlfriend on the other hand well she didn't having fun and things she has a older mindset. Definitely monogamous and straight forward personality I feel like there's better ways to describe the two different type sets but I guess that's like the gist of it My girlfriend never actually liked them but didn't know why and I used to say I would never date an ..read more

Friends GF complains about him to his own friends

To make a long story short our friend 22M is in an on again off again relationship with his gf 19F. Over the course of their entire two-year relationship, she has complained and sought out reassurance/advice from us. (Mind you we are his friends, who she only knows through him). I have been nothing, but kind to her, as I have also been in a toxic relationship, and needed advice from a friend. However, this has taken a toll on all of his friends as well as his family members. She constantly complains about the things that he’s doing, calling him a piece of shit, telling all of us, including hi ..read more

My boyfriend (19) and I (18) have know each-other since December. We moved very fast and after about a week he was staying the night pretty frequently. A month exactly after us meeting, (January 6th) we started dating. We said I love you for the first time on January 17th. Since then, he's practically moved in along the line and we have been just about living together for maybe a month or two. This was a mutual decision. I was always pretty secure with this. He treated me incredibly well to this day, he's sweet and kind and supportive. I was worried at first about moving too fast but settled ..read more

So last Tuesday I went on a date with a guy. It was just a simple date, he asked me to go for wine. The date went really well and we talked a lot about ourselves, getting to know each other, he flirted with me. It was really fun also to talk to him and I feel click. I’ve never felt as great as this after a date in 2 years. Before going home he asked me how am I gonna get home then he offered to drive me back, I agreed. So he drove me home and we talk a lot also, before I left he told me he had a great time. I thought he’s going to text me after the date but apparently he didn’t until now. Sho ..read more

I (41M) am Having Trouble Getting Over My Ex (40F). Just Went NC

So my now ex (40F) broke up with me out of the blue two days ago. I thought everything was fine. Turned out, for the majority of our brief relationship (3 months official, two months casually dating), she never truly loved me. She cited several reasons, but one was because our relationship was a distraction from her self-improvement. She's been to therapy for a while following a string of abusive relationships. She also mentioned that she just didn't feel a connection. I had no idea. Nothing she said or did indicated that to me. Another reason she left me was because of my epilepsy. I had a s ..read more

My (23F) best friend (23M) isn’t supportive of my other friend (34M).

My (23F) best friend (23M) isn’t supportive of my other friend (34M). So I have this friend “Peter” who I met while gaming recently. He didn’t set off my radar, he was pretty chill and actually really supportive. We talk pretty much everyday and I enjoy talking to him but I told my best friend, “TJ”, about him the other day, and he laughed when I told him his age but that was pretty much it. Fast forward to a couple days ago I found out some pretty ~interesting~ stuff about Peter’s past (won’t go into too much detail, it was a lot). However, I will say that my sense of it is that he is a pers ..read more
