Hi all. I’m a reporting analyst and looking to workout how to manage non production processes when there isn’t really a feasible non production data source.
For context we have two reporting servers (prod and non prod) with a number of databases set up. We use the non production server/db’s for testing of course. This works well when reporting on systems that also have non production environments. However we have some reporting requirements where there is no feasible non production environment to pull data. For example pulling user usage data from applications. There is not much data for non ..read more

Hello,
I am working in a logistics company. We have bought a accounting software. It has bot for whatsapp. When i send a message on whatsapp to software, software provides me what doc or information i need. If i can write exact code on SQL, software can accelerate the company’s workflow. I don’t know anything about SQL. Can i use AI to write codes ? If it’s yes, please give me some advices.

I was wondering how big are the tables in different places. I was working with this one for a while.
Luckily I'm not the one maintaining it ??

Hey, i am an intern and working in a company that deals with POS(point of sale). I get confused when it comes to sql like if someone guides me to do a join or that particular attribute will act as foreign key. But i myself can’t make such logics currently i have learned ERD but again i lack confidence in converting that ERD to Relational Mapping. Your suggestions and advices will be helpful

Context: I am a college student, and have a DBMS Laboratory course. The college uses the proprietary Oracle SQL Plus in their computers. I wanted to practice commands, and so I want to set up a DBMS in my PC (Arch Linux OS). However, I want the practice to benefit my understanding of the lab course directly, and so I want a DBMS which has a similar instruction set to Oracle SQL.
I know this might not be a fully technical questions or the questions you all in this sub are used to, but this is the only place dedicated to SQL on here, so please help me out guys. Thanks for your time.

When and if there are repeated generation values, aka stale telemetry, such as 4+ intervals with the same generation values, how would I flag those values? Is python required?
Thanks in advance!
