Maybe my intro sentence isn’t clear but basically what I’m trying to do is have excel auto highlight a particular cell whenever a date is coming close to the deadline which is in a separate column.
I.e
I have three columns Departure Date:
Complete date(When documents should be completed by)
Days until print(which just takes column A and subtracts B to get days until print)
So if Departure is 12-26
I need documents completed by 11/24(32 days)
I would like to highlight the cells as follow;
Red if todays date is Inside 32
Yellow if it’s inside 70
and Green if over 140

Hello r/excel, I’ve currently got a master table with 47 columns each row is a different project and this table is concerned with milestones etc. , I want to have another table which will have a lot of columns too where I can put detailed volumes against each project which automatically updates based on projects that have been added/removed on the master table, I’ve tried self referencing tables but it’s quite messy if you want to change something down the line and I’m concerned if I split a row it breaks the key column. I work with updating bills of materials (parts lists) for projects. The BOMs are generated spreadsheets that are basically imported text dumps from other software.
I generally take the resulting Excel workbook and add a few columns to handle to purchasing part of things. How many needed, how many bought, cost, etc. This is fine for the first iteration.
When the project updates, however, things get out of whack. I get a new BOM that may not be in the same order as the old one. Quantities may change, there may be new lines, or old lines may be gone. For this reason conditionally flagging cell d ..read more

I am learning some function in Excel via a training guide in LinkedIn Learing and while being shown examples of the Hyperlink function this example was shown.

The instructor clarified that by using the ' key it allows excel to handle strings with spaces in the name. I understand that, but what I don't understand is the use of #' to generate the correct name for the workbook your working in. I have a data set of numbers from 1-100, in 2112 rows.
If I enter this:
=MODE.MULT(B2:B2112)
The only result I get is the number 1
If I enter =MODE.MULT(B2:B20) I get actual results. It seems to break down after 100 rows or so. What Am I doing wrong. And yes I am doing it as an array set.

I'll give an example of what I'm talking about first, and then explain it:

As you can see, in column C, I take the data in column D and move it down one. The problem is that the final measurement of each person in column D, then becomes the first measurement of each person in column C.
Is there any way to delete that value without doing it manually? For example, setting it up so that the first measurement in column C for each person is always left blank? Something ..read more

My presentation spreadsheet links to a SmartView (refreshable) report. That report shows the actual growth percentage as -3514.4.
My presentation view grabs the figure and divides by 100 to show this -3514.4 as a percentage EX: (3,714.4%). I'd like anything over 1,000 /-1,000 to show as <999% or >999% instead of the figure.
Any ideas?

I have the below spread sheet. The highlighted #s represent a month (4 = April)

I'm hoping there's an easy solution but I'm stumped.
I have a file with two worksheets: "In Progress" & "Completed".
I am wanting to move an entire row from "Completed" to "In Progress" (and delete from Completed) when it is within 90 days of the date in row E.
Currently I have it set up where an entire row will be removed from "In Progress" to "Completed" when the cell in row H says "Submitted" using this code:
