Hello.
Why :first-child selector makes all text green in all of the paragraphs <p> when it's only supposed to apply the style to the element if it's the first child?
Thank you!

I have a table with fixed layout, it has two rows. In the first you can see the width is working as they are 50%-45%-5%. In the second row I tried to set it to 30%-20%-50% but it does not work. Why is that?

I'm creating a site where the user can hover over a defined term that has been underlined and a box pops up with the definition. It seems to be working well with the exception that if the pop up box happens to be over another defined term that second term can be seen in the background of the box. Here's an example of my code:
<u><span >Word<span >Definition of word</span></span></u>
.definition_pop_up {
position: relative;width: max-content;padding-right: .25em;
}
.definition_pop_up .definition_content {
display: none;position: absolute;

So, I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile now, not only because I think flexbox can be a bit daunting for beginners but also because I think seeing demos is the best way to learn this stuff. So I used Framer.js to build some demos and then talked through them and explained them all in a video.
It’s not perfect, but it’s my most-watched video to date and a few people have said it’s been really helpful for them. Let me know what you all think! I’d love to hear any ways I could make these more helpful!

Hej, I wonder what is causing the difference in underline property for my a elements (links).
Link on desktop
I would like all my links on mobile be also with one underline only, and not having every word underlined separately. Anyone knows how to solve it? The styling happens on iPhone.

I'm currently formatting a website dedicated to my s/o and I's travel goals/plans and I'm struggling to fix the image of us and the text underneath it. The image exceeds the first row and flows into the second where there is a chunk of text. Is there a way to make the image fit only in the first row? Or maybe even make the 2nd row fit the height of the text? I thought that grid-row: 1 / 2; would maybe do something but it didn't.
Here is a visual of the issue

How to apply selector to element that has no children but can have whitespace? :empty matches whitespace so it doesn't work and :blank isn't supported.
Is there another selector or some way to use :has for it?

I don't know why, but I feel CSS is hard, does anybody feel like this?
if someone is good at CSS can you share resources to learn like websites or YouTube Channels and some projects to master the CSS?
