I have tried it again today with the beta version of 24.04, but it seems that still the installer doesn't support using pre-existing encrypted partitions. I have tried a clean install of 22.04 (the installer supports pre-existing encrypted partitions ) and then do-release-upgrade but it crashes and the system is unrecoverable. Tried updating to 24.04 from 22.04. Looked like it was going smoothly. Now all I get is a white screen with "Oh no! Something has gone wrong. A problem has occurred and the system can't recover.
