The FTC received a total of 2.6 million fraud reports last year. There were 1 million reports of identity theft in 2023. Fraud cost the military community $477,000,000. Unlike the two weeks of early voting, Denton County residents who cast their ballots Saturday, Election Day, must go to their precinct’s designated polling place. During early voting, registered voters in Denton County can vote at any of dozens of early voting locations all around the county. But on Election Day, you must go to your precinct’s assigned location, causing confusion among some voters. The town of Double Oak will celebrate its 50th birthday with two events this month, starting with a car show on Saturday. The 50th Birthday Car Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Clayton Downing Middle School, 5555 Bridlewood Blvd, according to the town website.
