Hi all.
I use Adobe Express since I have the Creative Cloud All Apps suite. The breadth of assets are available to me is very useful (textures, backgrounds, shapes, 3D elements, etc.) to create drafts/mockups.
I hate the program however. It is clunky, extremely limited in functionality. However, I am wondering if there's any way to access the assets available in express and use them in Photoshop with as little hassle as possible.
I tried to look this up, but all the threads I found on the topic are not related to this, so I'm probably phrasing the question wrong.
If this isn't possible, what ..read more

Hello. I work at a daycare/school as the kitchen manager. I create a weekly menu, and try to adjust colors and images based on the month/events in the month. I’m looking at options to make it better however I don’t have a creative bone in my body. Hoping to get suggestions and advice on anything that’d make it better or depending on price, have someone edit it or create a template I can use each month. I attached screenshots of what my current design is. I made it in word and do everything there

I just got this email (screenshot in comments) - I'm wary to begin with as l've had a scammer reach out to me over email from Behance before. I have applied for a ton of projects on Behance recently though, so his opening is a bit assuring. I am curious though what to think of him asking for 4 unpaid initial mockups as a "test"? I don't have a long history in graphic design but in my freelance work in fine arts I would never offer any work for free. That said I'm new to graphic design and itching for work/experience, so l'm open to it if it isn't considered sketchy.

I just recently got in the tech industry, I used to be in the field of psychology and I've always loved Art and was sad that I had to give that up. But I decided to get back to doing what I love doing the most. So I started learning UI UX and I fell in love with 3D so I stubbled upon blender. Should I learn graphic design first then learn blender later or is it okay to learn blender without prior knowledge in graphic design??

Hi. I am a brand&graphic designer. I moved from Atlanta to New York two months ago, and I'm actively looking for a job here. I applied for 70+ vacancies and received no response, just a couple of rejection letters.. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, and I will be very grateful for your feedback and advice. Thank you!

Does anyone have a favourite website/tool/service for dynamic mockups? Like drag and drop your images and poof, it's applied to a box/mug/magazine?

This is a really weird one. Currently have a contract with a company for social media and general marketing graphic work. They recently hired a new marketing “team” (it’s just one person, outsourced from overseas) who is now requiring all graphics I provide them to be made in his specific Canva account.
Up until this point I had been providing them all of their deliverables directly, after having designed them to their needs in my own design software.
Is this a normal ask, or am I justified in feeling apprehensive about this. This person (new marketing lead) has made questionable cost-cutting ..read more

I don't post much but I've honestly learned so much just from perusing this sub daily! I took into account every critique of a resume, logo, or graphic I saw and it's been so helpful in continually updating my portfolio and resume. I'm certain I wouldn't have made those changes without this sub, you truly never stop learning!
If you've been on the job hunt too, don't give up! And don't be that person who sticks their head in the sand and refuses to take the advice of people on this sub because you think you know better.
