Robin Van Gyn was the officiator of the first all female backcountry freestyle contest that took place this week, Research and Development. If the women who attended's posts have anything to say about how it went, we would come to assume it was truly incredible. Below are some of the posts from the women and their captions.

The Natural Selection Tour Finals trophies are stunning.
Each year, Natural Selection gives out beautiful--and usually quite large--trophies to its winners. The trophies incorporate the NST logo and the natural ethos that underlines the Tour's philosophy.
This year's trophies are no exception.
The meticulous work that goes into the creation of the trophies is so cool to check out. Each design element, all of the materials, and the process of making the trophies are all meticulous.
A design house called FYI created the pieces.
FYI Design wrote on their website:

At Natural Selection Tour's Revelstoke stop, Nils Mindnich landed a crazy switch back side 720 from his second run of the day.

A post shared by The Bomb Hole Podcast (@thebombhole)
This is a very hard trick to do at all, let alone on this backcountry freestyle course. Insane! Nils confesses his strategy in this interview from The Bomb Hole Group Chat episode, and it seems that his thoughts were one track minded, eye on the prize, with the switch back 720. He tells us he did a 720 almost every time he went snowboarding this year, and if not every time, then at le ..read more

Earlier in March, the 2024 Yeti Natural Selection Revelstoke went down in British Columbia.
Natural Selection just released seven minutes of hammer footage from the event.
At Revy, 24 riders entered the contest's head-to-head brackets (women's quarterfinals and men's qualifiers ran) and 16 emerged to move onto the NST finals day (which will start with women's semis and men's quarterfinals). The match-ups are always absolute nail bitters in every round and the Revelstoke terrain is a perfect canvas for the roster to let loose. What this translates to is plenty of stand-out moments.

Spend any time riding Sugarbush, whether you're a local to Washington County or visiting friends, and you're bound to make a stop at Lawson's Finest Liquids' taproom.
The taproom opened in 2018 in Waitsfield, Vermont, just a few minutes down the road from Sugarbush. Not only does the taproom offer Lawson's beers on tap (we recommend Little Sip), as well as delicious, perfect-for-après (or anytime) eats, as well as a retail store, the building is totally gorgeous, with high ceilings and tons of light.
