Days later, Rakus was observed eating the stems and leaves of the creeper akar kuning (Fibraurea tinctoria), which local people use to treat diabetes, dysentery and malaria, among other conditions. Back in 2010, writers Anthony Del Col and Conor McCreery teamed up with artists Andy Belanger, Ian Herring, and Kagan McLeod for a bloody, pulpy take on the ol' Bard. The first volume of Kill Shakespeare was a tremendous hit, pitting Hamlet against Juliet, Othello, Falstaff, and others in his quest to resurrect his father. Later volumes introduced the menacing Mac family, along with a mysterious wizard known as William Shakespeare. Man drinks and reviews 94 year-old canned baby formula

Have you ever had the urge to drink 94 year-old canned baby formula? The gentleman in this video sure did, and he seems to have no regrets about his decision. The can does look amazingly well-preserved for how old it is, and I'd guess that the high sugar content of the formula helped keep it drinkable.  Watch the process of the antique can getting opened, boiled, sipped and discussed. I would be fearful about drinking modern-day baby formula, let alone a can of the stuff from 1930.  See also: After a vegan blue cheese won the Good Food Award, panicked dairy cheese makers forced the ..read more

Onigiri is a delicious snack from Japan made of sticky rice that's shaped into triangles or balls and stuffed with anything from little bits of veggies to fish to different types of meat. You can find them at any convenient store in Japan, and they're super cheap (around 64 US cents). Unless, that is, they contain the "unique flavor" of human sweat. For that extra ingredient — sourced from women's armpits — it will cost you a pretty yen, according to a the South China Morning Post. Or more like $1,000 yen (close to $6.50). The snack is now being prepared by young women who use their armpits ..read more
