      For the purposes of discussion let us assume our mortal lives are lived along a "trail."       In 1966-1967 I was a first lieutenant and junior aide to the Major General commanding the Second Armored Division at Fort Hood, Texas. My introduction to personalities was when the general described one of our brigade commanders as a "phlegmatic." For some reason that word stuck with me. At the time it did not make much sense to me.       A few weeks ago in a sermon I heard the preacher compare/contrast an employment commitment and the analogous aspects of a dedication of faith to our Lord God, once we become Christian.       If I were imprisoned and only was allowed to have two books, one would be the Bible and the second would be Noah Webster's 1828 Dictionary published by the Foundation for American Christian Education. Whenever I desire to obtain a definition for use of a word, this is my "Go to" resource. Webster produced an incredible dictionary.       At age eight I had already mapped out a goal for my then short-lived life. I set my sights on obtaining admission to West Point and becoming a regular Army officer.
