My F150 is a V6. But I feel like it could sound pretty cool still if I put a different muffler on it. Say a Cherry Bomb or a Borla cat back exhaust. The Borla is for sale locally. Person wants like $380 for it. They say “it’ll bolt right on” and it was a limited run? I’m not sure so that’s why I’m here asking. thoughts about this on a V6? Have you done it already? Hi, new to the F150 community. I have an 03 F150. It’s a short box, regular cab 4x4 with a 4.2L and 5-speed. I basically lucked out getting this truck. It only has like 35,000 miles on it. It’s immaculate inside and out. The guy my dad bought it from is 91 years old and lives in Hawaii. Only comes to Alaska for a few months in the summer to fish etc. The truck basically sat since 2017 because he just couldn’t come to Alaska due to health problems. My trucks four wheel drive is being a pain! I’ll pull the lever and put it in 4x4, the light on my dash says it’s in four. But it isn’t! Than suddenly it will be in four. Than I’ll shut the truck off because I got to school or back home and when I go back out a bit later it will do the same thing. Put lever in 4x4 4x4 lights up on dash. Back up and it’s not in four. So I pull forward a bit. still not in four. So I drive some. And suddenly it’s in four wheel drive. But than it disengages somehow on and off. !!!I have a 2002 ford 150 crew cab. Use it to pull a trailer 3+ days a week hauling average 1500 lbs. It died on the side of the highway.. Rear end is locked up. Cant get the gear ratio easily. Stupidly had it towed to the ford dealership. They are basically holding it hostage until I pay them a couple hundred dollars for the "examination". Would like to know if I can find gear ratio, and other possibly pertation info before I go in to deal with them. so they don't try to baffle me with bs. Please someone help me ..read more
