Me again ..... (Evil laugh) We're going to re-attempt driving the ol' girl tomorrow. Have a question. This has a very nice "Leer" cap on the truck bed. The 3rd brake light has never worked. There was a broken 'orange' wire under the truck that we assumed was the wiring for the 3rd brake light on the Leer Cap. It's been repaired (soldered with heat shrink) but the 3rd brake light is still not working. I've heard tell of a wire in the back of the truck that was designed for an extra brake light. My fuel pump went out middle of November. So I ordered a new pump and got it installed December 2. I Know by my Vin # and the build sheet I was supposed to have a Anti-Spin diff in my durango but the normal tests were acting like it was a open diff. I pulled the cover off and found Metal clutch parts as well as the fiber ones Broken and in the bottom of the diff area. Any Idea what would cause the clutch packs to break apart I realize they will wear but did not expect to see broken pieces. Now my biggest question is how long will I be able to run the Durango (or can I at all) until I can figure out a way to either replace the clutches themselves or have to replace the entire Unit? I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 4x4. Currently had a downshift solenoid and transmission line installed at amcoo. One day after getting my truck back it was acting up so checked fluid levels and Trans fluid was low. Looked yder truck and trans line was completely disconnected from trans. So have it towed to amcoo and picked it up yesterday. Drove for about 30 mins before it acted up by studdering coming to a stop and then stalled. Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'm posting this to hopefully help someone else who may have this issue. I received an 05 Stratus for free from a friend. I needed a commuter car that I didn't really care about and was good on gas, so my friend offered me her Stratus that she was about to send to the junkyard. Ok so the Dakota has been running a little rich and a bit rough at idle. So i decided to do a tune up ( which by the way did resolve the idle issues) However. Well when i was taking the old plugs out i noticed, disturbingly, that i could take them out extremely easily with almost no force. One plug popped loose without a wrench, just turning the extension bar by hand. I found this quite disturbing! i remember, looking back, the last time i changed the plugs i torqued them to 20ft lbs. Had a few threads on this... not getting anywhere sadly. Initially figured it was a throttle body deal... had the error come up and engine shudder and shut off. I cleaned the TB and it ran fine for a few days then did it again. Grabbed a TB from the wreckers, worked a few months then did it again. Bought a new TB and lasted a few hours and got the error again. I have a 2003 Laramie 5.7l Hemi 4x4, and for 2003-04 of this model, the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor was below the battery tray.
