The Swedish Firesteel is an excellent version of the ferrocerium rod. This ferro rod is one of the best for bushcraft, survival and camping. By producing extremely hot sparks Swedish firesteels, and ferro rods more generally, can ignite a very wide range of potentially combustible materials.
