OM Digital Solutions has announced an upcoming firmware update for the OM-System OM-1, which is among the Best OM System cameras. It is scheduled to become available in the autumn and is said to include improvements to the camera’s AF capabilities, such as S-AF and C-AF, as well as usability. Sony has revealed a relatively small and lightweight large-aperture standard zoom for its full-frame E-mount cameras. The Sony FE 24-50mm F2.8 G measures approximately 75mm in diameter and 92mm in length, while weighing 440g. Presumably, it’s aimed heavily at users of Sony’s compact-bodied Alpha A7C, A7C II, and A7CR cameras. As part of the Fujifilm X-Summit in Tokyo, Japan, Fujifilm held a special session discussing the design process of the Fujifilm X100 series, and the GFX100 II, and showed the Fujifilm X100V and new X100VI cut in half, letting us see inside the Fujifilm X100VI. Fujifilm has announced a new XF 16-50mm F2.8-4.8 X-Mount lens has been added to an updated X-Mount lens roadmap, at the Fujifilm X-Summit, Tokyo, 2024.
