BALTIMORE (WJZ) — One man is dead following a shooting early Wednesday morning in Baltimore, authorities said. About 2:30 a.m., patrol officers were called to a shooting in the 500 block of West Mulberry Street, where they found the victim shot, Baltimore Police said. The unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of multiple gunshot wounds, but he did not survive, police said. BALTIMORE (WJZ) — More than 1,638 customers have lost power as severe thunderstorms move through northern and central Maryland, according to an outage map provided by Baltimore Gas & Electric. Per the utility company, there are as many as 30,348 households without power in Baltimore County this morning. In Carroll County, 11,216 of the utility company’s 59,959 customers — or about nearly 20% — are without power this morning. BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A Laurel man has pled guilty to killing a 28-year-old woman four decades ago, according to the Office of the State’s Attorney for Howard County. Howard Jackson Bradberry, 64, faces a charge of second-degree murder in a kidnapping case that dates back to March 29, 1982, Howard County officials said. Laney Lee McGadney left her apartment in Columbia to walk to a grocery store in the Owen Brown Village Center that day, according to authorities. BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Homicide detectives have opened an investigation into the death of a man who was found inside a building in South Baltimore on Tuesday, according to authorities. Officers were sent to the 3400 block of Spelman Road to investigate a report of an unresponsive male who was inside of a dwelling, police said.
