Limerick Regatta and the Irish Schools Regatta took place last weekend at O’Briensbridge. The six Limerick clubs hosted 32 clubs and 52 schools over two days, delivering over 200 races in glorious sunshine. Many of the young rowers got their first taste of regatta rowing on Saturday, with huge cheers of support for the U13 Octuplets, giving us some fantastic races along with the U14 quads too. Limerick Regatta Committee will host both the Limerick Regatta and the Schools Regatta this weekend at O’Briensbridge, Co. Clare. The regatta committee wants to make attendees aware that there is very limited parking available at the venue and in the local area.
