Kerrang!
by Jake Richardson

Given the pedigree of its members, with alumni of Black Peaks, Palm Reader and Toska all present, it won’t come as a surprise to hear that VOWER are a very good band. This record is a shot in the arm for a scene already in very rude health. Opening track Shroud kicks apricity off with some huge vocals courtesy of PR man Josh McKeown, who excels throughout this EP thanks to his ..read more

Tilly Kingston has just unleashed an accomplished debut EP, Fairytales & Horror Stories. Featuring breakout singles Best Break Up Ever and Youth Is Wasted, the 18-year-old’s full six-track release is now on streaming. And it’s an angsty and emotional effort that reflects a lot of what Tilly has experienced in life so far, revealing that, “I struggled for a long time with my identity and who I was. I knew I wasn’t like other kids at my school. I’m a left-of-centre kind of person, and I stuck out like a sore thumb. Lots of them would look a ..read more

Rising grime-meets-rock artist Native James has just unleashed an almighty new single.
