I have a strange issue with the terrain control auto drive, haven't been able to find this problem listed anywhere. Put in drive or reverse and try to pull away, will not move, puts itself in snow mode and will drive and reverse in snow mode with service 4wd required message. Am able to select 4WD LOW, will drive and reverse with no messages. Have disconnected battery multiple times and drove a few miles in snow mode but will not reset itself.. Good afternoon. Ill keep it short. I just bought a 2001 jeep Cherokee XJ from a guy on Facebook (Very good condition!) He put a new engine in it. Everything looks stock including things he has replaced. My problem is the jeep has multiple misfires and some o2 sensor codes. 02 sensors look new but could be bad. Codes: p0132, p0300, p0304, p0138, p0306 ,p0141, p0305 Symptoms Rough idle after driving for a while On highway will stutter and jerk when pressing accelerator which i think is when misfires are happening ? I bought a 98 Jeep Cherokee Limited this past year and was told the NP242 T-case was shot. I finally pulled the T-case this week. The oil pick up had dislodged, made it into the gears, got chewed up and caused the chain to pop off. The magnet was completely covered in shavings and it looks like the chain might have lightly eaten away at a few spots near the bolt holes on the case. Gears all seem to be in good shape. Hey y'all I just finally finished setting up the new gears and Eaton TrueTrac on my Ford 8.8 for project Eileen. I was wondering about the order of operations. Obviously I could finish building out the axle installing the new brakes and axles but I still need to weld the new brackets on and I'm curious if I should do the welding as is or if it's fine to finish assembling everything minus the brake lines and weld that stuff on later. limited space means it would be helpful to have all this put back together and ready for install but I don't want to damage anything.
