Hello Folks, New to Volvo V40 Club, I got a MY18 V40 MOMENTUM NAV + T2 AUTO owned since mid 2023. Currently doing 61,5XX miles, Service is due and checked with Volvo Dealer in Leeds. Service cost £546 inc vat for Engine oil + Filter, Air Filter, Cabin filter, Spark plug, Car valeting, + 1 year roadside assistance . If courtesy car required extra £15 and £55 for MOT extra. Hello all. I had a clunking start a while ago. Taken it to one place and was told the top strut mounting was bad. I had this replaced, and the clunking went away. I recently had 4 new tyres fitted and the same sound has come back the same day I had those fitted. The difference now is that it's not over bumps per se, but is more over the road surface. volvo v40 2013 d3 hey people. i was wondering. everywhere i look i see that if you have the premuim sound system its supposed to say harman kardon here. so whats with mine? im looking to upgrade my bass because the speakers cant handle anything close to 60hz area. not that wierd considering they arnt subwoofers but still. i was kinda expecting more out of this system. my high performance system in my older s80 has better bass... this has much better highs and mids tho. Hello, I have recently purchased a VOLVO V40 T5 R-Design 2016 and the navigation system shows i'm in Japan. I have been looking through other threads and I understand that to change the navi location to New Zealand I need to download a file onto a USB stick and then put that into the car. The files I could find on the volvo website were the sensus maps and I have tried both the 2016 and 2014 ones and I have tried both the USB option and Hard Disk option for install. I recently bought a V40 D4 2014 it had the maintenance overdue message. I was not able to look at the oil level, it was just gray on the display. I thought the two things were connected. Stupid me I guess.. Today I changed the oil and reset the interval counter so no more messages. But the oil level option is still gray, cannot check it. Is the level sensor faulty?
