I just bought a 69 camaro yesterday and took it out for the first time today. I locked the door and went into a store and when I came out and used the key to unlock it, the lock pull popped up but the door wouldn’t open. i went to the passenger side and had the same issue. I called a tow truck and the guy struggled for about 45 minutes and finally was able to roll down the back window first then was able to get the front window down and we were in. First post :icon_beerchug: I tried to keep fairly comprehensive notes as I went along. Some electrical issues became irrelevant after fuse block was "fixed". I have a '95 Camaro loaded with jen-u-wine blk leather, Bose, T-tops, etc. and a crappy 3.4L with 125,000 miles. It hasn't been started in prolly 6 years. Needed/needs a new cam. Number 1 intake cam lobe had worn prematurely but it still started, grant it, on 5 cylinders, but it still started. I used to start it every week until I stopped caring. My 2000, SS seems to steer kinda hard. I just bought it 3 weeks ago so maybe I'm just not used to it yet and maybe it's supposed to be that way. I can steer my 2018 1500 Silverado with 2 fingers. Can't do that with the Camero! And the steering wheel doesn't seem to return to going straight very well after turning. It has sat still a lot for the last several years but I drove it 730 miles from Indianapolis to Syracuse NY when I bought it so it seems like if it was stiff from sitting it would have loosened up. Looking to get an Oregon special Interest license plate for my 67 Camaro. I have about 100 miles on in the past 10 years and my registration is due again. What I am looking for is a Special interest group that is approved by the Oregon DMV that can vouch for my car being a Special Interest car. Hey everyone! My first post here and I’m getting ready to bring in my 1969 Camaro in to do a light resto mod. It’s a 350, TH350 car with mild engine and transmission work already done when I got it from my father when I turned 16, 15 years ago. I want to update something’s on it and but keep that 1969 vibe. It started out as a faint smell of gas inside my 2011 Camaro and gradually got worse, now you can smell it completely surrounding my car outside after it is parked. My 2013 LS has a standard radio and climate control display. It started to go crazy: switched from Sirius to FM, switched back and forth a few times, display went blank then would come back with the standard display of time/date/ temp, then would display climate control, the radio would go on even after I shut it off, the display went back to default time and date (1/1/2010), and every minute or so would go blank, then display climate control, the time/date/temp, radio on and off.
