Brand new converter and Transmission (8miles). It acts like the converter is not functioning properly. When I put it in drive it clangs the drive like and acts like the 218/227 cam is pushing against the converter.
just like it doesn’t have a stall.

LT engines form the factory come with a threst bearing on the block only. My bearing kit came with one for the block and the cap. It also came with a flat bearing for the cap.

Not sure if right forum. If not, please redirect. I have a 2002 WS6 TA with 70k miles. It needs paint- badly. Mice have gotten into the interior. Needs clutch. Engine and tranny runs strong. Hasn't started in a while.
Need guidance on what price I should sell this for (and where?). 1 accident that got the quarter panel replaced. Thanks for the replies ..read more

I have 2 S925 batteries I would like to sell bc im going to lithium. They both have hardly any use. Maybe 25 starts each. I have one gm style mount but it can also be used in any car with modification. Located in Washington NC. Batteries weigh about 23lbs each.   ..read more

Hey everyone. I appreciate all the help so far. Got the motor running in my 98 TA after installing a LSA SC and 411 pcm but my speedometer and tac arent working. The oil pressure works fine and the battery voltage as well as the fuel however those 2 still wont work. I followed the pcm repinning procedures to a "T" and even had a friend double check. Hey guys. A dear friend brought a new project into my life that he wants me to help him with. Part of this project is installing a new (to him) 6l80e. This Trans is coded as a 2010, and came advertised as 'good, running, and low miles'. I have not opened up "schrodinger's box" yet, so as of right now, it's both a good and bad transmission. No obvious defects externally, but it does have a torque converter with a 'remanufactured' sticker on it.
