Each and every day new mobile games are hitting the App Store, and so each week we put together a big old list of all the best new releases of the past seven days. Back in the day the App Store would showcase the same games for a week, and then refresh those features each Thursday. Because of that developers got into the habit of releasing their games throughout Wednesday or very early Thursday in order to hopefully get one of those coveted features spots. Nowadays the App Store refreshes constantly, so the need for everyone to release all on the same day has diminished. Still, we’ve kept our ..read more

Having spent a fair bit of time with Xbox Game Studios’ somewhat flawed Switch port of Grounded for my recent review put me in the mood for more survival games, which in turn got me in the mood to create a list of survival games. Lists, I love them. And I don’t think we’ve actually done this one before, so it’s certainly past due. As with all of our other lists, this is just our personal favorites and are presented in no particular order. Suggestions of other games fit for this list are more than appreciated, so make sure you comment if you’ve got any ideas. Let’s go!

After Shaun’s look at the best Switch games of all time with a cameo from yours truly, I’ve done a round-up with our picks for the best Switch indie games of all time. Many years ago, the best console for indie games was the PS Vita, and that audience and the developers found their footing on the Switch since, with it not only getting tons of indies and indie exclusives, but also because it was the best way to play most indies on console. It was really difficult picking just 10 games for this because of the sheer breath of indies that are amazing on Switch, but that’s what I’ve gone ahead and ..read more
