This past weekend (July 19–20, 2024), I had the pleasure of attending Kristi McLelland’s very first Feast event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As approximately 800 women entered Wooddale Church on Friday night, there was a noticeable search for healing, rest, transformation, and redemption. Through every conversation between attendees, worship songs led by Laura Cooksey, and teaching from Kristi—the presence of God was evident.   The event began with the amazing Laura Cooksey leading the room in worship. Laura led the room with such grace and humility. The worship sessions led by Laura were f ..read more

This is still the root of how we love each other within the church: we treat each other with kindness, help when we can, and provide for earthly needs when our brother or sister is in need.   Our young adult ministry found that br ..read more

There is something extra sweet about celebrating the arrival of a newborn. Bringing a gift that will grow up alongside and become a special part of the family routine allows the giver to participate in growing a legacy of faith. Whether you are attending a baby shower for a brand-new mom or hosting a shower for a mom of many, gifting her with biblical truth that tiny hands will cling to long before their hearts can comprehend, is the kind of gift that holds meaning for years to come. 365 Talks With Jesus by Amy Parker In 365 Talks with Jesus, you’ll find prayers to share with your presch ..read more

Yesterday was like most Sunday mornings. As a staff member of a large church, I passed many people scurrying through the hallways between three worship services, dozens of classes, and parents corralling toddlers and children of various ages. I had just returned from a mission trip and was exhausted from a delayed overnight flight. I had a nasty cold and ..read more
