Hi, I wrote in 2009 to say that I thought that the formula of Eternity for men had changed. I loved that scent in 1990, but I was very disappointed with the bottle I bought in January 2009, labelled “Coty Prestige”. I thought that maybe Coty changed the formula when they bought Unilever (owner of Calvin Klein Cosmetics Co.) in May 2005… I just went to a perfume store here in Montreal (Canada) and asked to check the boxes they had. I was introduced to creed green irish tweed around 2016. I can't be sure of the year but definitely 2016 plus or minus 2 years. Back then I was poor and couldn't afford creed. Now I am still poor but I just realized I am not getting any younger so I want to buy it. However, the colognes sold at department stores are completely different from the version I smelled in 2016. A promising array of elements, in particular the use of absolutes, together with incense and wood. But does it deliver? Spices are evident up top, along with the cool eucalyptus. The scent is rich and heady, quite exotic and a bit sweet. In my opinion the rosewood dominates and overwhelms the scent. The languid yet powerful furniture polish character of rosewood means that a little goes a long way. The scent is too rich for my liking, though some may appreciate it. Top Notes... Hi. Just today, I am unable to open my alerts or PM's. With alerts, it spins a long time and stops without the alerts opening. The number of alerts then goes away, with me unable to see them. With PM's, I also get very long spinning, which eventually stops, and I unable to see my PM's. The number of PM's (the little number in the green box) does remain however.
