I have a rough idle. I have changed the MAF sensor, the coils, the plugs, the diaphragm (pvc) even the in-tank fuel pump and filter/sending unit. Still gives code for general low air and now I was changing the MAP sensor on the driver side manifold hard to get to. Well, I dropped the screw that mounts the new unit and cannot find it. Hi, I have a question about the operation of my cooling fan, and the relationship with the AC. It is a single speed fan which I would assume should be coming on when the AC is turned on, and not just when the cooling temperature calls for it. The green light on the dash comes on, and the AC compressor comes on. The fan does run when it's hot, but it doesn't turn on with the AC turned on and the engine cool. Hi all, So, I wanted to fit my old Sony stereo to my R56, I took the dash apart, all the centre console, disconnected the big Speedo dial, all the looms for heating, windows etc. Test fitted the Sony stereo with a new harness, it worked perfectly, sound throughout. Refitted everything back together (minus the original CD unit and disconnected the audio buttons below the Speedo). The Sony stereo still works, and ‘beeps’ like they did, through the car speakers. My R57 had a damaged battery cover and the one for the coolant on the other side went the same way to I ordered the complete trim set. A bit of a pain to get the wiper arms off but I managed it in the end and replacing both wasn’t too difficult. I also made sure the metal guide was on the front windshield and both bits of plastic trim are clipped in….except the rubber but where they overlap doesn’t seem to rest correctly. Hi, Quick question if I may. On my vacuum pump I have this hose with a bolt in the end attached to the pump. I know somethings nor right here, I'm guessing I'm missing a pipe that goes from the pump to the inlet manifold.
