AEW Dynasty 2024 Welcome to Cageside Community Star Ratings for AEW Dynasty! For some wrestling fans, star ratings are a way of life. It’s one thing to say that a match is good or bad, but can you actually put a number on it? The star rating system is a scale ranging from 0 to 5 with increments of 0.25. A five star match is as close to perfect as it gets while a zero star match is a complete dud. Determining the star rating for a given match is a highly subjective process. In general the goal is to wrap up all the important elements of a match into one simple number. Some factors to consider m ..read more

Photo by Etsuo Hara/Getty Images New Japan Pro-Wrestling and the Japanese women’s wrestling (aka joshi) promotion Stardom have been linked since NJPW’s parent company Bushiroad purchased Stardom in 2019. Operating under the same corporate umbrella has led to a fair amount of crossover, including women’s matches at New Japan shows and the creation of the IWGP Women’s and NJPW Strong Women’s championships. Those are noteworthy as New Japan famously only featured men’s wrestling prior to Bushiroad’s acquisition of Stardom. Ricky Havlik for All Elite Wrestling The numbers are in for the April 20 episode of AEW Collision — and Rampage — on TNT. WWE.com First off, apologies for not having an update on the “Nightbird” campaign clues from SmackDown last Friday (April 19). Fans in Pittsburgh reported that song again played in the arena before the broadcast, then a QR code displayed during Triple H’s entrance on the show took us to a link on WWE.com, where we got this image: Clicking on the right spot of that — where a zoom in reveals the words “I’m nobody” — takes you here, where we get even more obvious Plato’s cave art... ...and another VHS-y video that contained the message: “I set them free / out of the miry clay / opened their eye ..read more
